#گاز #استیلن ، یا #اتین #کوچک ترین #عضو #خانواده #آلکین‌های #هیدروکربن است که از #دو #اتم #هیدروژن و دو اتم #کربن که با هم #پیوند #سه‌گانه دارند ساخته شده‌است. به خاطر وجود این پیوند سه‌گانه ، استیلن جزو #مواد #شیمیایی #اشباع_نشده #شناخته می‌شود.
گاز استیلن، گازی #بی_رنگ و در #دما ی #معمولی و #فشار به شدت #آتشگیر و با #بو یی #شبیه بوی #سیر می باشد. این گاز در #سال 1836# توسط #ادموند #داوی #کشف شد. در هوا به #شدت و با #شعله های #درخشان می سوزد. #مخلوط گاز استیلن و #هوا بسیار #منفجر شونده است. بنابراین آن را به صورت #محلول در #استون و به همراه مواد #متخلخل #ذخیره و #حمل میکنند.

It #burns #intensely in the #air with #bright #flames. The #mixture of acetylene gas and air is highly #explosive. #Therefore , it is #stored and #transported as a #solution in #acetone along with #porous #materials.
